Welcome to the Worship and Learning group page. We do “what it says on the can” in that we think about ways that we can enhance the worship and learning activities of our church community. Recent worship initiatives have included
- Two services linked to the environment (creation and our responsibilities in caring for it). The circuit youth group helped to prepare and deliver the services (link to Circuit Youth Group page) and the response was so good they were encouraged to take the worship material around different churches in the circuit.
- A themed approach to Advent and Christmas when the various individual services were linked to the theme of light
- The purchase of “Songs of fellowship” to enrich our worship
Recent Learning initiatives have included:
- A book club which reflected on the challenges presented by the book written by Bishop Spong entitled “Why Christianity must change or die”
- Discussions on challenging contemporary issues

Up coming activities include:
- The book club will return when we read through “What’s so amazing about grace?” by Philip Yancey
For details of events please keep and eye on the weekly notices or follow the link to the current minutes.
The Worship and Learning group is open to all so please come and join us.
